I need some wheels

Someone should really warn you how difficult it is to find a car.

You look and you look and you finally find one that fits the majority of your criteria (aesthetically pleasing, not a beater car, a small SUV, etc.). Then you really get down to business and negotiate over the price. Finally, you have your mechanic check it out and he finds that there is $100 million worth of work that needs to be done.

AND you are back to stage 1. Looking for a car.

I'm starting to go insane.

So here is my plea:

Dear craigslist, edmunds, auto trader, and all you rip-off dealerships out there,

Please just find a car for me that isn't $20,000 or hiding necessary repairs and isn't nasty ugly. Please deliver to me my the end of this weekend. Thank you very much for you time and consideration.

If I don't find one soon I'm going to run up to the Vespa store on Nall and purchase a little scooter. I could rock the helmet. It may take a little longer to get to work, but hey, I'd be riding in style.

Where do I go from here?

Now that all my adventures in Europe are mere memories, I am finding it difficult to come up with something to write about. I believe there are two main reasons for this:

1. Everything seems pretty dull in comparison to the past 4 months.
2. Since not a single one of my friends is back from school yet and I sold my car before I left and have yet to find a suitable replacement (craigslist, you are letting me down!), I am forced to sit in my house all day with no one to hang out with.

I will use today as an example.

9:15 - Wake up to let the cleaning lady in. Try to go back to sleep.

9:16 - All of a sudden I have a pounding headache. Thank you pollen and mold. Try to go back to sleep...again.

10:00 - Can't sleep. Take some Advil.

10:15 - Lay downstairs in the basement so I am out of the way of the cleaning lady. Fall in and out of sleep while watching recorded episodes of House.

12:00 - Make an Eggo waffle.

12:05 - 6:00 - Discover we have OnDemand. Watch CSI:NY, Harper's Island (per brother's request), Numb3rs, and NCIS. My headache won't go away.

6:00 - Eat dinner with Mom and Tim. First real human contact of the day.

7:00 - 11:00 - Watch Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, and more CSI.

11:00 - 1:00 am: Lay in bed playing on the computer and think about how worthless I was today.

Save. Me.
